Apogee Information Systems currently has a vacancy for a PHP - Drupal Developer fluent in English, to offer their services in Brussels, Belgium.

Position Description:
The selected candidate will be in Brussels starting as soon as possible. Work will be carried out on site at customer's premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the IT project team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Developing back and front end of new functionalities and sections of our website portfolio using PHP and Drupal, integrating with MySQL databases where necessary.
Making improvements and bug-fixes to existing websites using PHP and Drupal.
Developing the Partner’s Intranet and a billing system within the CRM, Site re-design and video integration.
Assisting in the support of other in-house products and sites.
Working with other members of the team to improve existing processes and procedures, and helping to identify new processes
Working within the team's Quality Assurance and Testing framework.

Needed skills:

Excellent XHTML, HTML, CSS, PHP, Drupal 6.x, Javascript, AJAX
At least 2 years of hands-on Drupal experience is required as well as being particularly proficient in programming in object oriented PHP and MySQL databases. The successful candidate will have worked on, and developed database driven and transactional websites (sample URLs will be required) within a LAMP environment.
Good knowledge of W3C standards and practices, as well as an exemplary eye for detail.
Adobe Software: Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator
SEO understanding and ability to use Google Analytics
Excellent internet skills in using various browsers and search engines
Team player, quick learner, keep up to date with latest industry news and trends, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and have experience working within a digital agency or an online media.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability and willingness to continually search for new ideas and development methods.
